Zebras Everywhere

We used shape, line and tempera paint to create our Zebras!

My students love to learn about the history of Ancient Egypt. I take them back to B.C. times to discover how egyptians made paper out of papirus plants, share secrets of the mummies and teach them to write in heiroglyiphics among other things.

Mural Progress

We are so excited about the very educational mural in the cafeteria. The mural has both Texas and USA symbolizism. Notice the Texas oil well, Monarch Butterly (insect), Bluemonnet growth (flower), Pecan tree ( tx tree) and etc. More to come so stay tuned....

Red birds (Cardinals) were created by showing different views of the bird. The male red bird is brightly colored with oil pastels. Good job 2nd grade!
